The Gelato Class lasts around two hours and takes participants through a journey combining history, technique and practice.
From the Renaissance origins of gelato at the court of Catherine de’ Medici, to the differences between artisan gelato and ice cream, each step is designed to offer a complete and engaging understanding.
During the class, two recipes are prepared: one milk-based and one fruit-based, followed by a final tasting.
The classes are led by master gelato maker Sergio Dondoli.
